Wormix is a tactical game developed and released on mobile devices by Pragmatix. The production can also be played from a web browser, as well as on personal computers to which it was titled Bombix. On all platforms the game is distributed in a free model with micropayments (free-to-play).

Mechanics

Wormix draws on the solutions developed for the Worms cycle. In the course of the game we take part in turn-based battles on various maps generated in a procedural manner; in the course of the struggle we lead to the battle of unconventional soldiers - from boxers, through demons from hell and bloodthirsty zombies, to cats and rabbits, which are not only agile, but also cunning. The authors provide us with several dozen tools for murder and gadgets, the skillful use of which is the key to victory - flying saucers, spiders, explosive watermelons, teleports or even jet rucksacks. It is worth noting that nothing prevents us from adapting the appearance of our wards to individual preferences - we can equip them with various hats and artifacts, among other things; all this is complemented by more and more powerful combat skills, which we unblock as we progress.

Game modes

Wormix on a web platform, PC, etc. offers a variety of gameplay variants. Loners can test their skills in specially prepared missions or in battles with enemies controlled by artificial intelligence. For those who prefer to have fun in multiplayer mode arena based on PvP rules and clash with bosses.

Technical issues

Like the Worms games, Wormix offers two-dimensional graphics in cartoon style. In the same way as it happens in games about wars they did, the boards on which the struggle takes place are destroyed during the fight.
