Bust a Move 4 sports two basic modes of play - puzzle or versus, either of which can be played in arcade mode or as part of some bizarre, badly translated and largely incomprehensible story. The first mode has you bubbling your way, solo, though a variety of pre-laid-out levels, the bubbles arranged in such a way as to make disposing of them. Bust-A-Move 4 isn't looking to break new ground, but does a good job of spicing up an old favorite. For newbies, Bust-A-Move is a twist on the Tetris-style puzzle that involves matching up three or more like-colored bubbles to clear the board. This fourth edition lets you create and edit your own challenging setups, play through a Story mode, and tackle the standard Arcade and Two-Player modes. The main objective of Bust-A-Move 4 is shooting colored bubbles into clusters of other bubbles. When a bubble makes contact with two or more bubbles of the same color, they pop. The object of each stage is to pop all the bubbles before the timer reaches zero or the bubbles get too low. Bust-A-Move 4 is an action-packed Japanese puzzle game that requires quick thinking and a lot of coordination as you work to combine groups of colored bubbles to rack up points and move on to the next level in a dizzying array of colorful, challenging stages.
