Wandersong is a side-scrolling puzzle and adventure game that uses music as a puzzle-solving mechanic. The player character can sing to cause events to occur in the environment around them, using a coloured 'song wheel' with eight directions, each representing musical notes spanning an octave, which is controlled by the mouse on a computer setup, or the right thumbstick on a controller. I don't know if this counts as an au, or what, but whatever

This is just going to be a short description of some of the characters and ideas I have pertaining to 2 overseer characters I have created. I will add on to this as I think up and create new stuff.

-The Overseers-

Now, in this there are two overseers sharing a nexus point, like the sun and moon overseers. These two are the King of Light, and the Queen of Darkness.

The King of Light resembles a lion, with a powerful build, and cat-like features. A tuft of feathers adorn the tip of his tail, and small horns stick out next to his ears. His gold crown sits lopsided atop his head, ringing around one of his ears, and he has sky blue eyes.

(I will try to make a better drawing soon, but for now this is all I have)

The Queen of Darkness is a dark purple dragon, almost black in color. Long, sharp spines run down her back, ending in an arrow-head spike on her tail. She has large, leathery wings with pale lavender webbing. A silver crown dangles from one of her ivory horns, and she has dark amber eyes.

(Same thing with the other drawing)

The two work together in tandem, and they both reside in their part of the spirit world together.

-The Nexus Point-

The nexus point to reach them is located in a large graveyard, at the bottom of a crypt. Whenever someone describes where they've seen the graveyard, its always somewhere different, though everyone claims to find it while wandering in the woods. It most likely would be a dungeon crawl type thing to get to the bottom of the crypt, with the possibility of monsters along the way ;)

and last but not least:

-Getting The Song-

And by that I mean the song used at the nexus point. At each overseer, there's always a certain person that you have to get the song from. For these overseers, you have to get the song from:

*drumroll..*

Fenton

Fenton is a smol skele-boyo, the guardian of the overseers song, and caretaker of the graveyard. Fenton plays the panflute, and can be commonly found sitting atop the crypt, playing to himself.

-Inside the Crypt-

After teaching you the song, Fenton will tell you to 'go find Fred in the crypt' and that 'he knows the way through'. The crypt is actually a maze, and Fred is the only one who knows how to get through.

Fred is a large creature with white fur, covered in splashes of color. When you actually enter the crypt, there will be puzzles that Fred does not know how to go around. In order to progress, you need to solve the puzzles and lead Fred through them.

Eventually, you reach the end of the crypt, a large room with an old, broken statue of some kind of deity. At this point Fred will depart, and you can enter the spirit world.

-The Spirit World-

When you enter the spirit world you will be greeted by two fairies.

I don't have pictures of them yet just pretend this is a picture.

The Light Fairy is a small lion-like creature with yellow fur and a dark red mane. The Dark fairy is a small, dark teel snake.

And, that's all I have for now. If you have any ideas or feedback, in glad to hear it!
